could someone please tell me what amp means in a swingin sense seen it on a lot of profiles and its drivin me crazy!!

It's short for 'ampersand' which is the 'and' symbol above the number 7 on your keyboard. When you see 'amp' on a profile, it means 'and' but there is a site glitch that prevents the abbreviation appearing on profiles
