Delete picture once sent

How do you delete a picture so it can be seen once you've sent it? Can this be done?

Remove it from your profile then it will go from the message you attached it to

The only way is to delete the pic from your gallery.

You can reupload it afterwards if you wish and it wont appear in the message then.

If someone saves the picture on their device there is no way of deleting it
