False positive removals

Not sure what criteria is used or if there's an automated bot gone a wry but I've had it happen twice now where I'm having a nice conversation with a someone and then the banhammer falls.
They have no idea why they've been banned.
Sorry if talking about bans is banned but thought you want to know your system produces false positives which discourages new members. |

Are you saying they're temporarily banned from messaging? It'll be because they used a banned word or a link. The ban lifts in a couple of hours |

No, completely scrubbed from site.
I don't know exactly what they see their side but they're miffed.
Only know it's an issue because we swapped numbers.
Always assumed in the past is we a fake account or something when someone disappeared.
But it's twice now where I've been able to personally verify the account was real but they've still be scrubbed. |

Ok if they have a problem with it and are confident they've broken no rules or someone who has access to their profile hasn't deleted it they should contact admin from the log in page to query it. |

Sorry but that too little too late.
I'm just flagging your losing members.
It's incumbent on you to explain to someone why you've removed them and how they may rejoin.
They've moved on and while I'm thankful for the introduction I'm not going to argue with them about it.

If they are not on the site anymore they will have deleted their profile themselves.
If they are disabled ( which Admin do ) they will have gotten a mail |
