Me and my husband are going for our second time this year

First time was amazing!!

Advice from us :-

Socialise! We would describe it as a camping trip with the friendliest people you’ve met!

In my bag for the main arena I have cigs, a lighter, money, wipes and a bag of condoms

Bring a onesie - the field gets cold and a onesie is easy to slip into in the morning to go to the loo!

Wellies! As with any festival!

Snacks and drinks for the tent.

Ermmmm

Oh yeah and get involved with everything the organisers have planned! It’s a community event so make the most out of it!

Feel free to PM me if you want any more advice

Pretty much what Nymph has said above.

There are 3 bands playing over the 3 days along with other entertainment. DJs provide additional music during the day/night.

A selection of sellers will be selling various adult outfits/toys etc.

Plenty of food vendors plus the bus bar.

Play areas are provided by ourselves (The Playgrounds) and Eureka Parties.

The camping areas are always a buzz with people mixing it up with others all day and night.

People always say they make so many new friends at the festival, as mentioned above, it's got such a community vibe.

This will be our sixth year, it's always the highlight of our year xxx

I know security is important, but before We book tickets can any one give us an idea of which part of the UK this event is held in?

Depending on location we may not be able to get there due to work commitments.

The location is revealed 48 hours before the event for security, I think the ticket has an insurance option if you have to cancel after booking though

The first time we went the arena was one large area but the play tents were separate to the food, drink and music. Most people hang out at the music and drink part and then go to the play tents. Not like miles between them but far enough away that you don’t have to listen to people having sex while you’re eating your dinner

I will also add, we encountered NO pressure to play at all. The vibe is a lot more chilled out than a club setting (probably because you’ve got 3 days not a few hours!).

When we go to clubs, I rarely play because I require a connection (not always found immediately at a club) whereas SF, gives you a lot longer to click with people

I’m a very liberated person anyway but I felt so at ease within less than an hour of getting there (and it was my first ever festival!). I was worried about being left alone before we went and said to my husband (then fuck buddy!) to not leave me alone, yet within a few hours I realised I could walk around freely and without a chaperone as an early 20s female without men accosting you at every moment! Which is a very different vibe to the club scene yet incredibly good for safety

Also the security team did an impeccable job of making sure people were behaving too. Especially the hot security guard who let me stand near him when I was outside the tent and even walked me to the play tents so I wasn’t alone.

Honestly, first time nerves are totally understandable, but having been just ONCE myself... I can guarantee you that you will have an incredible time!

I know this time round, if you want to come say hi look straight in the fetish tent I’ll be looking for a victim to spank

If you Google swingfields some of the tabloids from previous years have pictures taken from when the organisers were setting up etc. That should give you some idea of the set up xx

Just to let you all know the festival is now called AURORA FESTIVAL 2020. Tickets have been on sale since last October and over 400 people have purchased tickets so far. With another 5 months to go this festival could be the highest attended yet, so as the numbers rise tickets will become more limited. We can also reveal that this year's festival will be in Worcestershire xxxx

Just a naive question here - I’m not much of a camper. Hygiene Are there plenty of showers and opportunities to freshen up?! I’m not sure I’d want to play at all if I wasn’t super sure that I was fresh and so was the person I’m playing with.

Oh that is fantastic, I think I could persuade my better half to maybe attend sometime, but there would have to be a strong gay interest somewhere for him. He’s the gay kinky you see, I am the bi kinky one. Is there any information on any website about how long the whole thing lasts? And also, I wondered, how could the organisers tell the difference between genuine gay couples and straight chancers who might be trying to infiltrate? May sound like a really stupid question but I was curious Xxx

Hi, what do you mean by 'strong gay interest'? The festival is open to all people of any sexual preference. Everyone is welcome so we don't need to know who is what! Socialising and getting to know one another is how you find out, the very essence of the lifestyle, communicating and sharing Do give it a try, I think you might enjoy yourself xx

Purley

This year will be my 4th time.

Its a great event. I've seen allsorts of action and been involved in some of it.

Putting it simpley, it's about meeting people with mutually appreciative lifestyle interests. Everything flows from that.

Treat it like a festival, enjoy, have fun, go with the flow.

You will find yourself back the following year!
