Hi my wife and I want to experience a club for the first time but of course we’re a little nervous about it all we’ve looked at a few clubs local to us in the northwest we’re thinking a club that doesn’t dress down on entry would be best being new to this but don’t know which clubs do this I’ve been on the websites and we’re still confused can anyone help out |

Possibly they mean normally only meet when going out to normal nightclubs but are now looking at attending a Swingers Club. |

There is a newbie night every Wednesday at Townhouse. On that night there are hosts (I’m one of the hosts) and club buddies that give you a tour, introduce you to people and do an organised social. The ground floor at Townhouse including the bar and lounge, you can stay fully dressed in all evening. Lots of our other party nights have hosts and club buddies in place to meet and greet newbies.

We’re arent interested at the moment in meeting in hotels or bars and that’s all we get messages for it was easier to put club meets only in our profile sorry if it seems confusing we are only learning |

Hi Alex,
Dont be put of by dress down clubs. Every club I have attended has been filled with friendly respectful people. very rarley you will get an odd person or couple who are likely to less than respectful but they are usually identified quickly and asked to leave if they do cause any problems.
Always go with the attitude that it is a social only occasion and if anything sexual happens it is a bonus.
I recommend chameleons in Darleston and Jaydees. Both offer accomodation. |

I've been to a few clubs and always chose those that didn't require you to dress down. I've always been a little body conscious and was worried about it.
When I did finally go to a dress down club I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable I felt. I was a bit nervous for the first few minutes but soon settled in. It wasn't a big deal because everyone was in the same situation so I didn't stand out.
Don't automatically dismiss a club because it is dress down. You could be missing out on a fantastic place. Of the clubs I've visited so far the dress down club I went to is still my favourite. It is in the NW too so have a look at it - Cupids. |

We was thinking of Cupid’s but for our very first club experience was thinking if we didn’t have to dress down straight away it would be better after that when we’ve gained a little more confidence try the dress down clubs |

I am hosting a small newbie night in Stoke on Friday Feb 9th. I meet about 6 to 8 new nervous folk at a pub, have a chance to chat about club's and answer any questions and then we walk to Atlantis in Burslem.
That way you walk in with a group of people you have already met. I am not advertising it widely, as small numbers work best.
Have a look at the club reviews and drop me a message if you are interested. It is a great friendly club, starts off like a nightclub and it's not a dress down club. People attending with me get a £5 voucher off admission too  |

I’d reiterate what Lilac said above ... newbie night at Townhouse is a nice, gentle way to dip your toe in the water in a ‘dress down optional’ club. And hopefully that’ll give you the confidence to try other events & other clubs!!  |

Chameleons in Darlaston was our first and only club - just watched and fucked each other first time then gradually got braver each time

Quest in Leeds is a good first time club. In the bar area you don't have to dress down at all. You can just socialise the whole evening and a get a feel for the place. The staff are really friendly and will give you a tour for your first time. |

We'd absolutely second Townhouse as a great club for your first visit! Especially the newbie night on Wednesday.
It's like a regular bar downstairs with playrooms upstairs. You can stay dressed all night long downstairs if you like. You only need to dress down if you go upstairs after 11 (or is it 10?).
We'd also agree that dressing down on entry isn't as scary as it sounds. When everyone else is dressed down, it makes for such a unique and relaxed atmosphere! This is the case in Cupid's.
No.3 Club in Chorley is another one you could try. It's dress down everywhere but only after 11. Until then you can stay dressed all around the club. |

If you are happy traveling I'd throw Xtasia in to the mix.
Dress smart, own licensed bar, dance floor, large chill out room, some bigger rooms, some more private.
No pressure to dress down at all. Some people go down to lingerie etc..but not everyone.
It has a great atmosphere, great rooms and the other club goers are very friendly and welcoming.
There is a Premier Inn next door, so easy for accommodation.
If you want to brave a Friday night with couples and Singles, and then do the Saturday with just couples, you'll get a good feel for different nights...
They do a "weekend rate" so you pay less than 2 nights entry to get in for both nights.
