There is one at The Gatehouse. That always seemed popular when I went. I think people would use it. Especially those wanting somewhere to meet of a day. Always reminds me of indoor dogging. |

Women go. Maybe not many but then probably the same ratio that would go dogging. Some men enjoy wanking publicly. Just because somebody doesn't appeal to you, doesn't mean it wouldn't work. |

just offering my thoughts I think your views are in the minority though. Them places were like the only place you could see porn for a while and obviously the closure of said places supports my views. |

I agree Lilac, I've been to a few and the public aspect is why people go, not to just hopefully catch a bit of porn! Ideal for people who have an hour or two and don't want to pay as much as 40 quid to get in to their nearest open daytime club (single males I'm talking about here). |

We're West Midlands based and have time constraints but do like to play daytimes. Have a very good sex cinema (part of a sex shop) that we use and works very well for us and a lot of other couples we know on here.Guess we're just lucky to have the choice locally to us |

You keep making sweeping statements on all your posts and speaking for the majority. I very much doubt your opinion is such.
There are still cinemas open. The whole scene is quiet at the moment. Doesn't mean cinemas are obsolete. |

Especially if it's illicit meets, secret affairs, sneaking off work etc. Sneaking off to an adult cinema of a day time when you should be doing something mundane instead just adds to it.
I'd use an adult cinema. I've never really used them in the UK. Used to go to Paris years ago just to go. |

Cinema room at Amour always seemed to attract a lot of people in.
I like the idea of a proper laid out cinema with rows of seats and darkness. |

There used to be a few in London
I have been to 2, but there was another 1 that I am not sure exists
1 was in old street area before it got trendy
1 was in soho - that's closed down
But mr and Mrs x I do prefer the old cinema room at amours - had good times in there

Birmingham and the Black Country remains a hotspot for cinemas. We love 'em!
Birmingham has: Taboo, Adultworld, Amsterdam.
Bilston has: Foxy Lady
Walsall: Angels and Sinners.
Couples policy varies. I'd say taboo is by far the seediest yet it continues to prosper! I suspect only the planned HS2 train terminus in Brum will see its demise (it's in its path I think). |

Amsterdam is now closed and Adultworld doesn't allow the play mentioned here but three ain't bad!! Walsall is easily accessible from the motorway and has parking and the most couples visiting. There is choice. |

Cinema on its own would probably not be economically viable in a city centre nowadays (sky high rents etc.) - perhaps if there was a separate cinema room within one of the Manchester clubs that would work i.e. you could just opt to pay a REASONABLE sum to attend the cinema and not the club. BUT people in the club could pop into the cinema for free (because they paid the club entrance fee) - that way you may attract a few couples and women into the cinema - which attracts more men which equals a better income. Seems like a winner all round ? |

There is always the empire club just up the road in Huddersfield. It's in town (beside the market and Tesco) so easy to get to even on the train.

I vividly remember the Manchester club - it must have been about 25 years ago, though! I was quite new to the swinging/club/cinema scene, so I was surprised to see an asian couple in there. Then the stripper appeared, and she was drop-dead gorgeous - just my type - blonde and what they now call "robust". Well, firstly she put on a stonking strip show, and then she basically sexually assaulted the Asian woman, dragging her up onto the stage, stripping her and licking her. All the men in the place were going crazy, and it still rates after all these years as one of my top three sexual experiences of all time. There could only have been about 20 people in the place, but I bet they all still remember it to this day. |
