	Once again another fun night hosted by Inked with a good Guestlist and atmosphere. Glad we didn't have to queue and it was less hot than last time! Club is undergoing some renovations that took out a private room so if you want to you need to get into private rooms quickly albeit there are plenty of more public areas to play. Staff and security are always friendly, good prices for drinks and we always feel safe. The recent adverse reviews of Cupids are interesting - we have never experienced those issues. 	A fantastic Saturday night at Cupids. Warm welcome, from the staff and the fab host - met lots of lovely people, including a play with a couple on their first visit then some other fun! Still our favourite club by far. Really busy but we’ll run night. Date: 22 October 2023

	I used to love Cupids, but unfortunately it’s taken a real downward turn and as a single woman I no longer feel comfortable there. I attended Black Magic on Friday (a usually excellent event). I got a very frosty reception from the staff who seemed to spend 10 minutes debating whether or not my dress attire was suitable for the club (an outfit I have worn there several times with no issue). Although I was not dressed in lingerie, my outfit was most definitely revealing and sexy. I do understand the importance of dressing well and appropriately for the environment but the way this was managed and communicated by the club staff was appalling - I was told, very abruptly, to refer to the signage on the wall and the website. I wasn’t the only person unhappy with this and witnessed several women being ordered to strip down - the atmosphere over the evening became less fun and one guest appeared very distressed, screaming and shouting while removing all her clothes at the bar. To my surprise, the staff and security did nothing to calm her down and it was left to the host to intervene and take care of the lady who was very irate and aggressive and making a real scene. Have whatever rules you like, but it’s not good enough to change rules overnight and expect people to know about them, and then be rude to the very people who support your club and business. From what I saw, the club manager Emma wasn’t the least bit interested in helping or supporting her guests and broadly ignored what was happening. My previous experience of her hasn’t been great. Hearing the comments she’s made about women’s bodies and the way the treats the females on the scene she doesn’t care for has always made me feels uneasy but seeing her complete lack of interest in what happened last night really showed her lack of professionalism and added to the overall feel that Cupids isn’t the place for a single female. The ever increasingly revolting decor also isn’t doing the club any favours either I must say. The graphic images of cocks and use of vulgar language all over the place have really dragged the place down. It’s getting harder and harder to feel sexy and attractive in that environment. Definitely not female friendly and very down market. Whilst I’m at it I may as well mention the cleanliness and general odour. The beds stink, the whole place smells damp and dirty and in general you can see the place isn’t clean. I won’t be going back and it’s put me off the scene in general tbh. Date: 21 October 2023

	I attended Cupids last night for the first time, as always I attended the event alone as a single female... Bunny (host of black magic at Cupids) greeted me with a hug and a kiss, but I have to say I almost left immediately after I arrived at being told, rather aggressively, that I could only enter the club wearing only lingerie. Having been on the scene for 13+ years this has never happened, I was wearing a leather pencil skirt and matching cut out bra, I had no panties on, but was told to remove my skirt or I couldn't come in. The party invite clearly stated dress down and fetish style club wear was allowed, so I really didn't understand, it hardly looked like I was off to do my weekly shop in my outfit! I did not feel comfortable entering a club, that I've also never been to before, in just my heels and a cut out bra. I was offered a towel to cover my bottom half, which makes no sense to swap my fitted skirt that went perfectly with my fetish style outfit for a brown towel?! Luckily Bunny came to my rescue and was allowed to stay, but I must say as a first time experience to this club, coming in alone and being met to this aggressive dress policy was really off putting. I am glad I decided to give the club a chance though and stay, even though my anxiety after that welcome was now sky high! It's a spacious club with very interesting art work. Reasonable bar prices, and friendly people and lolly pops which was a nice touch ;) I would definitely give the club a second chance in the future, but you should also know, every woman that spoke to me throughout the night was just as upset about the strict 'bra and panties' only dress code. I had a nurse outfit on ffs with no bra on, they’ll want you walking around naked next, really upset me he did the guy at the bar but can’t blame the staff …. Also the ID number you should expect to know when you pay to go in, what a load of bollocks. Dress code has been tightened to the point where as a TV you can wear what you like and cover up yet Cherry was told her low cut dress was 'not revealing enough' and she was told to take it off !!. She explained she had no bra underneath but was again told she had to take her dress off and wrap a towel round her (supplied one was not big enough). A larger black towel was provided but by this point Cherry was seething. Even I in just an 'open' shirt and boxers was told to take my shirt off !. They then approached another lady in an even more revealing and short dress to order she took it off too, yes she was also annoyed. We were then trapped at the bar with a demand to pay for our two unfinished drinks before they'd open the exit. Well done Cupids for making a lady who had spent ages getting ready now feel not sexy enough and demanding she was instead wrapped in a FAR from sexy large black towel. Several members approached her to say how they loved her dress, my shirt and how shocked they were too. To add insult to injury the staff lady wearing a 'hoodie and jeans' was the one to order her dress was taken off. Even the fully dressed TV thought it was out of order. Still not fixed the dull jacuzzi either. Incredibly poor way to treat customers ! Date: 19 October 2023

As we were the only ones in to start with, we were able to wander about and see what changes had been made since our previous visit….. love the decor!! We found the staff very friendly and the Club was clean, warm, and welcoming . The single guys that came in, were very respectful, and happy just to watch our little show.
